For the second time in the past week, New York Yankees player Mark Teixeira will miss a game due to neck pain. He had to sit out against the Miami Marlins last Wednesday and said that the injury had been troubling him for about 10 days. Teixeira is the team leader in home runs (18) and RBI (49), so not having him in healthy condition can really hurt the team. That just goes to show the effects that neck pain can have, not just on professional athletes, but anyone in any job who finds it difficult to work due to pain.
