Hi, Randy
Thanks for your inquiry. The chair that would fit your needs the best would be the Infinity Iyashi…hands down! It is a brand new model from Infinite Therapeutics and is the first chair to have a roller track that goes down into the buttocks, seat, and thighs. It is fabulous. It also has arm airbags that inflate sequentially from the forearm down to the hand to enhance circulation of the blood and lymph in the upper extremities. Not many chairs work that well on the arms. I really think this chair would be what you are looking for. Here is the link to the chair on my site…

Let me know if I can be of further assistance. I am always at your disposal.

Hello Dr. Weidner, First thank you for being such a great resource in the massage chair industry. I truly got an education browsing through your web site and you tube channel. Both my wife and I have said that if anyone deserves our business its your company. Ok after much consideration we both feel the Osaki OS 4000 is the best choice as we are on a tight budget. My wife has had two back surgeries and its become clear that this is a necessity for her. she measures 23″ shoulder to shoulder and i’m 27″ and we are concerned that she and I may not fit between the shoulder pads. Are they removable? We are both under the weight max for the unit and both roughly 5′-8″ tall.  Thanks in advance for everything. Ben

Ben
Osaki just got back to me and reported a width of 20″ from shoulder bag to shoulder bag on the OS-4000. I might suggest taking a look at the IT-8100, which was introduced by Infinity to be a competitor to the OS-4000 and is at the same price point. It has a deep massage, mechanical foot rollers (OS-4000 does not have this feature), and arm airbags as well as no shoulder airbags to restrict your shoulders/chest. Take a look at it and let me know what you think.

Hello Alan
We just bought a Human Touch Acu Touch 06 from Costco after demoing in the store. We’re in our 60’s and have been wanting one for years. My wife has chronic back and neck problems along with osteoarthritis and I have lower back and neck. We love it so far but we never really tried any others except for the now defunct Gorilla chair. The only disappointments so far are no heat, and can’t seem to control the intensity on the foot massager. I found your website after buying this chair and wondering what your comments are about it and what you have that would be comparable, maybe with heat. We paid $3500 before tax and they did deliver into the house and it was pre-assembled, so we just plugged it in and started using it. I know there are places in Vegas that we can demo the same units you sell, but I like what you stand for so if you can offer some advice, I’d appreciate it.
Thank you,
Galen

Hi, Galen

Thanks so much for your email. Congratulations on getting a new massage chair. You will love it for years to come. The fact that you have already sat on one and actually like it a lot is very important. It would be hard for me to recommend any other chair unless you get a chance to sit on it and find out for yourself if there is something better for you. Not every chair comes with heat. The purpose of heat is to increase blood flow to the soft tissues of the back. The rollers themselves will create enough blood flow to your back throughout the course of the massage that heat will most likely not be a huge thing to miss out on. Although you can’t feel heat in your chair, your back will still get the same physiological benefits from the rollers vigorously working on your back.
As far as intensity adjustments on foot rollers, no chair that we carry or any chair out there for that matter has a foot roller intensity adjustment feature. Your chair should have the capacity to turn off the foot rollers during any program should they become too much for you.
Again, the most important thing is that you “love” the chair you have. You can try out other ones and you may find one with features that you  like more, but you will probably be paying more than you did. The Costco deals are pretty good.
I hope this helps in some way.
Dr. Alan Weidner
