[SCREEN TEXT: Introduction]

Pro MaestroAlan: Hi, I’m Dr. Alan Weidner from ‘Massage-Chair-Relief.com‘ and today I’m going to introduce you to a new chair called the Osaki Pro Maestro, and this chair is listed at $8999. It is Osaki’s top-selling model at this point in time, and the chair’s only been out a couple of months, and it’s already back-ordered, but I want to go over this chair. We have our floor model, and I’ll explain a few things to you. The remote control sits inside this little slot, and the cord goes down there. It’s a very easy, very, very simple user interface. We’ll go over the remote in a separate video, but it’ll stay right here. It’s kind of a spring loaded, winding, coil remote control wire. On the side here, you’ll see some quick keys. You’ve got a USB port to charge your device, or your phone. You’ve got power, you can pause the program, you can go through the auto-programs through this quick key here, and this is a ‘Zero G,’ or zero-gravity button, so you can tilt the chair back in to a zero-gravity position. And ‘4D+’ and ‘4D-,’ that means you can adjust the intensity of the rollers, or the depth of the rollers. Now, in all truth, it is really a 3D chair, there are not four dimensions that these chairs work in, they work in three dimensions, like everything else in our world, x-, y-axes, and z-axis, or the x-, y-axes, and the z-axis. And all chairs roll up and down and side to side in the x- and y-axes, and now in the 3D chairs, you can move the rollers forward to dig in to your back more, or retract it to dig in less, that is the third dimension, the z-axis. 4D is what some companies are starting to use to describe those three dimensions, plus the ability to adjust speed. And since pretty much every 3D chair has a speed adjustment in the rollers, all 3D chairs are 4D, but don’t be fooled by 4D, thinking that this chair’s got 4D, and this chair’s got 3D, I’m getting more from this chair. The configuration of the rollers in those three dimensions may be different from model to model, but pretty much all 3D chairs have that 4D speed adjustment, and this one, they call it a 4D chair. This one also has the encased foot massagers you’ll see here, and it has some very interesting pads and pillows on the side. It feels like a kind of a memory foam pad on either side, so when you put your foot in there, it feels a little restrictive, but your foot will slide in very nice, and then it has foot rollers underneath. This chair does not have calf rollers. I’ve had people call me asking me if it has calf rollers, because some retailers had been saying that there are calf rollers on the Maestro. There are not calf rollers, there are knobules on the back of the calves that are pushed forward in to the back of your calves. The calf airbags, on the inside, knead up and down on some of the programs, so you do get a kneading of the sides of the calves with the airbags. That hearkens back to the old Inada YuMe, which was really the only chair that we knew of that massaged your calves in a kneading fashion. The Osaki Ekon, which sits next to the Maestro in our showroom, also has that calf massage. You have airbags here on the hips, and you’ve got plenty of airbags here in the waist. You’ve got the pillow, the headpiece, to keep your head propped up, or you move it out of the way and you can get your neck massaged. It has airbags in the arms, and it looks like they’re sequential. You’ve got two different airbags, and they have the little knobules on there to hold on to your skin. Sometimes arm airbags, if they don’t have those little knobules to hold your arm in place, the airbags will squeeze, and actually push your arms out of the armrests. These little knobules help the armrests hold on to the arms so they can get a good massage. This chair also has speakers here, so it has a Bluetooth pairing. You can pair your device, your phone, whatever, with the chair, and then play your music list, or whatever list you have, over the speakers of the chair. Speakers in massage chairs are not known to be fantastic electronic music devices, but it does provide some sound, if you want to do that. And I think that’s just about it for the Osaki Pro Maestro, a very nice chair. It’s very well received so far in the market. It’s very strong on the traps, it’s got a great foot-and-calf massage, and of course, it’s strong everywhere else, but the traps are an area that is kind of unique for the Maestro. It really does dig in a little bit more on the top of the shoulders, as opposed to other chairs, which kind of go to the top of the shoulder blades, but don’t come up over much on the shoulders. This one does a pretty good job at the junction between the neck and the shoulders. So, anyway, this is the Osaki Maestro, I hope you found this introduction helpful.
