Improving Work Schedules Can Reduce Stress

Whoever’s idea it was to force people to wake up at the crack of dawn before their bodies are ready to function, wasn’t a very smart person. Waking up super early to start working might sound like a productive idea but if you think about it, the amount of people who are groggy and complain about being tired at work, aren’t really getting much done.

There has been a recent idea to improve work schedules so that people aren’t walking around in a fog caused by social jetlag. It’s what happens when we lose sleep because our daily schedules don’t match our bodies’ natural rhythms.

If everyone wasn’t forced to wake up before their body was ready, maybe they’d feel less stressed, more energized, and have a more productive day.
