Alan: Hi, I’m Dr. Alan Weidner from ‘Massage-Chair-Relief.com’ and today we are going to talk about the Human Touch HT-7120 massage chair and the swivel feature on the base, a very simple feature, but pretty cool. Most chairs do not move at all. They have a stationary base with wheels on the back so you can roll the chair where ever you need to move it in your room or in your home or in your business, but the HT-7120 has what they call a swivel base. And if you’ll look at this thing, you’ll see that it’s not stationary, you can actually move this thing 30 degrees from one side to the other for a total of a 60-degree swivel, which is maybe designed to mimic a little bit more of an executive-type chair. The design of the chair actually looks more like an executive chair, but the swivel base is very convenient in that respect, and it’s kind of a nice feature. I have people that call me asking me for chairs that have swivel bases; this is one of the few that does have it.

Alan: One of the drawbacks of a swivel base is that you don’t have wheels to move the chair. So, if you want to move the chair, you’ll have to either lift with your arms on the armrests and with another person shuffle the chair to where you want it to go, or get a flat dolly with four wheels and have another person lift that side and lift this side, and slide the dolly underneath, and then roll the chair across the room or through the door or out of the house or out of the office. But that’s the only drawback of a swivel base, otherwise it’s a pretty nifty feature, and one that we don’t see on a lot of massage chairs. Again, I’m Dr. Alan Weidner from ‘Massage-Chair-Relief.com.’ If you have any questions, feel free to call us at 888-259-5380. Have a fantastic day.
