Infinity Presidential massage chairAlan: Hi, I’m Dr. Alan Weidner from ‘Massage-Chair-Relief.com‘ and today we’re going to talk about the symptom of headaches, which is a very common – well, I don’t know if people actually look for a massage chair to help with headaches – but people that have headaches and get massage chairs find that headaches, many times, headaches are alleviated.

Alan: Now, when we talk about headaches, I’m not talking about headaches that are secondary to, you know, maybe a vascular problem, like a blood problem, like migraineous, like a true migraine headache, or a cluster headache, or if it’s a headache secondary to like a malignancy, or other, some kind of other impinging growth, these are the headaches that we call stress headaches, cervicogenic headaches. That means, cervicogenic means headaches that originate from the cervical spine, or the neck spine.

Alan: Now, there’s these muscles at the base of your skull, called the suboccipitals. These muscles typically are tender if you’ve got what we call a stress headache, or a neck-related headache, and that pain referral will come from the back, and you can kind of feel it at the end of a day, where your – or even at the beginning of a day, it depends on when you have headaches – but it kind of feels like it’s just stressed, and you just want to just, kind of just massage it out. That’s what a chair will help you with. And those neck muscles, or those suboccipital muscles, they can often refer pain in a hat-like distribution around the head. So, you feel like you got pain in your temple, and in the front of your head, and back here, when you touch, it’s tender. Those are neck headaches secondary to muscle spasm, and those are headaches that a massage chair can help you out with. Now, in a massage chair, you can localize where the rollers go, so you can move the rollers to that one area, and have them work on those muscles specifically, and we have seen many instances where that will help you with your headache.

Alan: Now, it may not go away in one session, you might need to do a couple of rounds, but we have found that these massage chairs do help relieve these muscles, and release the spasm, and help with relieving the headache pain. And so, if that’s the case, and you do seem to have headaches, or if you’re looking for an answer for some headaches, and it’s a muscular headache of origin, I think you might find the massage chair can help you.
