If you are stressed out, time spent with a good friend can do you a world of good. And that’s true whether you are human or a chimp, according to Eva Botkin-Kowacki, a primatologist with the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology. The feeling of good friendship is not uniquely human, it’s something that chimpanzees can feel, too, Botkin-Kowacki told The Christian Science Monitor.
