OS-Pro SummitAlan: Hi, I’m Dr. Alan Weidner from ‘Massage-Chair-Relief.com‘ and today I’m going to show you how to use the Osaki Pro Summit massage chair for the first time. It’s a very easy chair to get started in. Of course, you sit in the chair, get your arms inside the arm rests. You want your thumbs up inside the armrests because the airbags squeeze from the side, and if your hands are like this, like you do on many other chairs, it’s going to squeeze your hand, and it’s going to be quite painful. So, you put your hands in like this, I like to lift the pillows off the back of the headpiece, or off the back of the chair, chair back, so I can put my head right back, and get the rollers to work on me. And you take the remote control out of the little remote-control holder here, and this is all you have to do. You push the flashing power button in the top left corner, bang, and then the first thing I do next is I push the ‘Relax’ position, and that puts me back in to a zero-gravity position.

Alan: You’ll see that the chair is reclining now, and then once it reclines, the legs are going to extend out electronically. You see how the legs are going out by themselves, while the chair is reclining, see the legs going out? Now they’re going to go out all the way. It’s farther than I need, but then it’s going to stop and come back. And when they come back, and the feet are the right length, I’m going to push my toes forward – like that, you heard the beep – and that stops them from retracting. So, that’s the way that you can measure – that you get the right measurement for your leg lengths – then I’m going to pick one of these six auto-programs, and the one that I like to use is the ‘TC Massage,’ which stands for ‘Traditional Chinese Massage.’ I’m going to push that button, let my head go back, and this is important – whenever you sit on a massage chair, and you turn it on, the chair starts by doing a body scan – so it’s important to keep your head back, so the chair can figure out where your head is, and where your shoulders are, relative to your head. If you keep your head forward, the chair is going to think that your head is the top of the shoulders, and you won’t get a good neck massage.

Alan: But anyway, you can hear the chair beeping, that’s the chair asking you if the shoulder height is right for the rollers. It is, and then you just relax, and kick back, and let the chair do its thing. That’s how easy it is to get started on this chair, power button, ‘Relax’ position, zero-gravity button, and then choose the program that you want. And then of course, now you can spend time reading the owner’s manual, and learning how to use this chair, while it’s running. And of course, in future times, you might want to use the manual settings, or a different auto-program, but then you’ll have the hang of it, but to get started, this is all you need to do. So, when you’re done, all you do on this one, is push the power button, top left again, and you’re done. You put the remote control back in there, the chair comes up, inclines back to the original, neutral position, and you’re done, and then you can get out of the chair, and that’s how you use the Osaki Pro Summit massage chair for the very first time.
