Pro MaestroAlan: Hi, I’m Dr. Alan Weidner from ‘Massage-Chair-Relief.com‘ and today I’m going to show you how to use the Osaki Pro Maestro massage chair for the very first time. There’s a couple things that are different about this chair. Number one is getting your feet in the foot rests. This chair has little pads, little foam pads, on either side of the feet, aside from airbags, and aside from the rollers, and it looks restrictive, but if you put your feet in there, it’s actually kind of snug and comfortable. So, you push your feet, kind of at an angle, through the foam, and then your feet are at the bottom, and the soles of your feet are on the foot rollers, and the airbags are in place to start inflating and compressing. That’s one thing that’s kind of unique, and then you sit back, this chair has the on/off button on the remote control, which by the way, is in this little slot with the spring-loaded reel for the remote-control cord. You push this button at the top, and that starts the chair. Now, you’ll notice right away, it went to this display, and once you turn it on, what I recommend doing is just going to to the auto-programs, and select ‘Demo,’ and you’ll see that the scanning has begun. Well, that’s all you need to do, you turn the chair on, you go to ‘Auto,’ and then you select the ‘Demo’ program, which will give you a taste of everything the chair can do, and while you’re sitting on this chair, you can either fall asleep and enjoy, enjoy it and fall asleep, or you can read through the owner’s manual to get a feeling for how the chair works. I like to move the headpiece out of the way, so I can get my neck massaged right away, and it’s important that when you first sit on the chair, you keep your head back so that the rollers can figure out where your head is, and where your shoulders are. If you don’t, if you keep your head forward, talking, or trying to look at other parts of the chair, the chair will not sense your neck and your head, and think that your head is down here, and you will not get a good neck massage. So, there’s a little word for the wise, especially if you feel like you’ve sat on the chair, you’ve turned it on, and it’s not even touching your neck, you probably had your head forward during the scan. So, you want to just lie back like this, and the chair is still doing a scan. Something that’s kind of unique about this chair is the scan takes a little bit longer than just 10, 15 seconds, which is what most Chinese-made chairs have. They have about a 10 to 15-second scan, and now I hear the remote clicking, it’s telling me that the scan is just about over. The chair has figured out my body size, where my head and my shoulders are, and now it’s going in to the ‘Demo’ program, and this is all automatic. It’s going in, it’s reclining to the zero-gravity position. You see that the legs are now going out on their own, and this is an electronic leg extender, so the legs will go out, and it’ll feel like it’s losing touch with your feet. Don’t worry, it’ll stop, and then it’ll come back, and see now it’s coming back, and it’ll come back and measure me just right in the legs, and the rollers will stop once it’s at the right place. So, this is how you get started on this chair, it’s very, very easy. You notice that the calf airbags are kneading my calves, that’s a feature very unique to this chair, and to the Osaki Ekon models. But that’s it, and then you just sit back and enjoy your program, whatever program you’re in, the ‘Demo’ is a good one to get started on, but you can get started in any one you want. And then, if you just let the program run through its cycle, it will stop, and it usually will just lie back and stay back in case you fall asleep, you can stay asleep. But if you want to end the cycle prematurely and get out of it right away, push the power button, and the chair will stop, and it’ll restore back to the default position, very, very easy chair, a very nice chair. It’s definitely got a good, firm massage, you’ll notice it right off the bat, and but just remember, the feet – don’t be fooled by the foam in the feet – don’t think that your feet can’t fit in there, they will fit. And then of course, don’t forget to turn the button at the top of the remote to get it started. It’s not on the face of the remote, it’s at the top. That can fool some people if you’re looking for a power button on the actual user interface. Well, that’s the Osaki Pro Maestro massage chair. I hope you found this video helpful.
