Achy Neck Self Help

Sometimes you just have to take matters into your own hands (literally) when it comes to fixing an achy neck. Los Angeles based massage therapist Nadia Perez offers some self help techniques to ease every day neck tension, and all you need are your hands, and a small tennis ball!

The first technique targets your trapezius, which is the muscle that connects your neck and upper back. All you need to do is grab a block of some sort, and pin the ball between the block and the crook of your neck then press firmly.

Next is a technique where you stand with your back to the wall with the tennis ball on your uper back between the top of your right shoulder blade and your spine. Rotate your arm in a circular motion for an easy, pain-relieving massage!
