Floor Model Massage Chairs For Sale!

Tuesday, October 28th, 2008

Well, as I mentioned in previous blog posts, their have been some developments with some of our massage chair models:

1. The Panasonic 30003 massage chair has been discontinued. The only reason we still have “In Stock” on our website is because we have our floor model available.

2. The HT-125 massage chair will be discontinued in 2009.

So, this means that I have two chairs on my showroom floor that must now be sold, since there are no news ones to sell! This is what I am making available to my website visitors:

1. Panasonic 30003 Massage Chair (black color)
Regular Price: $3999
Sale Price: $2499
Floor Model Price: $1899

2. HT-125 Massage Chair by Human Touch (cashew color)
Regular Price: $2299
Floor Model Price: $1299

3. I have two HT-1650 massage chairs in my showroom, with room for only 1. The HT-1650 is our 2nd most popular seller, behind the new Sogno PLUS massage chair. I am selling my black HT-1650 floor model for $3295!

HT-1650 Massage Chair by Human Touch (black)
Regular Price: $4795
Floor Model Price: $3295
The Panasonic 30003 and the HT-1650 are still under warranty. They are all good chairs, with a lot of mileage left in them. The upholstery is fantastic and they are all very, very clean.

I will pay for the shipping for you as well as throw in the bonus gifts that we offer with all our chairs. The Visa Gift Card special will not apply, however.

If you are interested in one or all of these chairs, you will have to call the office to place the order. Here is our toll free number: 1-888-259-5380. We’ll take good care of you over the phone.

By the way, we will be replacing these massage chairs but I am just not sure with what chairs! For sure, we will be carrying the Inada D5 Robo Massage Chair and the new Panasonic 30007 massage chair in the showroom and probably another HT model chair (either the HT-5005, HT-5270, or HT-5320…do you have an opinion as to which you would like to see in our showroom? Let us  know by responding to this blog entry and we’ll seriously consider your opinion). We may also carry the Perfect Chair, which is not a massage chair but one heckuva therapeutic chair made by Human Touch.

Panasonic 30003 Massage Chair Discontinued!

Thursday, October 23rd, 2008

I just learned today from Panasonic rep that the 30003 massage chair model has been discontinued. We found out because we placed an order for one this morning and he told me that he wasn’t even sure if there was one left. Well, that was news to me! Fortunately, he was able to find one more for me…but it is the last one. By the way, I have my floor model 30003 massage chair that I guess I will be selling. I can sell it to anyone interested for $1899. Let me know if you want it…it is in perfect condition.

So, I guess Panasonic is putting all their energy behind the 30007 model now. We will have the new 30007 up on our site very shortly. We finally have some specs and images on it. As you recall, I put up a link to a pdf file that contained the brochure for the Panasonic 30007, but not many details were available. You can read about it here…

 http://www.massage-chair-relief.com/blog/chair-models/panasonic-30007-massage-chair-brochure/

Below is a link to an information page on Panasonic’s website for the new Panasonic 30007:

http://www.panasonicmassagechairs.com/EP30007KX.html

They list the price at $5999, but for now I am offering it for $5499…until they tell me to change it. If you are interested in this chair and you want it before I get it up on our website, call me at 1-888-259-5380 and we’ll take your order over the phone.

Panasonic is also coming out with a new model chair called the 1285. It is available for pre-order only and it’s price point is $2699. I don’ t  know much about it, but here is a link to it’s product page on the Panasonic website:

http://www.panasonicmassagechairs.com/EP1285KL-EP1285TL.htm

As with the 30007, if you want it before we get it up on our site, call me at the same toll-free number you see above and we’ll get your on the pre-order list.

Have a super day!

HT-125/135/136 Massage Chairs Change in 2009

Tuesday, October 21st, 2008

I was just notified by my people at Human Touch that HT-125/135/136 family of massage chairs will be discontinued at regular online and offline retailers, like massage-chair-relief.com, in 2009. I don’t know what the exact date is, but I was told to plan on it. Apparently, the models will not be discontinued altogether, but will only be available through certain discount stores as an exclusive for that store.

So, the long and short of it is, sometime in early 2009 we will not be carrying these models anymore. It is a popular set of chairs, so they will be missed, but Human Touch has come out with so many new and exciting models that the pain of losing these other models is not as severe.  We will be selling the HT-125 massage chair that I have in the showroom and will replace it with the HT-5005, I believe.

By the way, if you are interested in my floor model, which is a cashew model, let me know. HT-125 massage chair by Human Touch (cashew)It retails for $2299, but I could sell it to an interested buyer for $1299, and that INCLUDES SHIPPING from our showroom to your home or business AND it includes the bonus gifts that we include with every purchase. It does not, however,  include the Visa Gift Card offer this month. It is a few years old, but it is in excellent condition. It looks great in cashew! Feel free to call our toll-free number if you want to talk to me about it. Our number is 1-888-259-5380. Steffanie will probably answer the phone, but you can ask her about it too. It won’t last for long, so if you are interested before Christmas, let me know asap. You can see an image of it on the right. Not bad, eh?

Before I go, I just wanted you to know that I posted a new article on the internet about the HT-1650 massage chair…one of my favorites. Here is the link to the article:

http://www.squidoo.com/ht1650_massage_chair
(yes, that is me in the ht-1650 massage chair)

Enjoy. Have a super day!

Human Touch Awarded $4.55 Million in Massage Chair Lawsuit

Tuesday, October 14th, 2008

I reported back in January that Human Touch massage chair company had won a lawsuit against King Kong Chairs and Premier Health Products for patent infringement. You can check out my blog entry, and associated information, at this link:

http://www.massage-chair-relief.com/blog/chair-models/human-touch-wins-lawsuit-against-king-kong-chairs-and-php-chairs/

Well, I just read a press release that mentions that Human Touch was just awarded  $4.55 million in a trademark infringement case. Here is a clip from the release:

“Human Touch®, the leading brand of high-performance, design-oriented massage chairs for today’s modern and traditional living spaces, announced today that a U.S. District Court jury awarded $4.55 million in damages to the company in its trademark/trade dress infringement and unfair competition action brought against American Lighting Industry, Inc for intentional infringement of Human Touch’s trademarks and trade dress as it relates to its Human Touch massage products and technology. The jury also awarded Human Touch $2.8 million against co-defendant King Kong U.S.A., Inc. and $425,000 against King Kong’s president, Bernard Koay.”

Later in the press release, it is also mentioned that in a separate ruling “another U.S. District Court jury awarded $1.7 million in damages to the company in a patent infringement action brought against WFO Imports, LLC.”

King Kong massage chairs is a subsidiary of American Lighting Industry Inc.
WFO Imports, LLC also does business as Premier Health Products.

Here is a link to the press release:

http://blog.humantouch.com/2008-09/455-million-awarded-to-human-touch%C2%AE-in-trademark-infringement/

Who knows what will happen now. I have heard rumors that American Lighting Industry Inc may sell off or shut down the King Kong massage chair division.  And can WFO sustain after being hit for $1.7 million. Don’t know, but time will tell…

International Massage Chair Shipments

Saturday, October 11th, 2008

I have had a lot of overseas inquiries lately from interested massage chair buyers. I don’ t know if it is the strength of the foreign dollar or the outrageous costs of massage chairs outside of the US, but the bottom  line is we get a lot of inquiries. We do not offer free shipping to orders outside of the continental USA, but we always offer to get a shipping quote for our visitors.

In the past, we have always just gotten an air freight shipping quote, but recently we have been looking into ocean freight.

Here is the pro and con of ocean freight versus air freight:

PRO:  Ocean freight is definitely cheaper in most cases…sometimes up to 60% less!

CON: Ocean freight takes longer to get to it’s destination…sometimes up to 45 days!

So, the trade-off with ocean freight is that you get a massage chair to you a lot cheaper but it is going to take a while longer to get there.

I just got a shipping quote for a Sogno Plus massage chair to Brazil. The air freight was about $1400, the ocean freight was $658. That is a significant savings. And, in this case, the shipping by ocean would “only” take about 26 days. That is about two weeks longer than an air freight shipment to the same place.

If you live overseas and are thinking of getting a massage chair as a Christmas gift,  you better get busy placing your order as soon as possible.

Just call or email us and give us your city and postal code and the model you are considering and I’ll get a shipping quote for you usually within 24 hours.

By the way, and this is the biggest thing, if you order any massage chair through our site, www.massage-chair-relief.com,  for international delivery, we will give you anywhere from $100 - $400 credit in shipping costs, depending on the chair model you order. You see, if you order a chair to be shipped within the continental USA, you get free shipping. It is free for you, but it costs me between $100-$400 depending on the chair model. So, if you are shipping internationally, we don’t have to pay the shipping for the chair and can pass the savings on to you!

Can I Buy A Massage Chair With My Flex/HSA Account Funds?

Wednesday, October 8th, 2008

This is a question we get a lot around here. Between questions about Flex/HSA accounts and regular medical insurance and whether they cover massage chair purchases, we could almost have an insurance department at Massage Chair  Relief!

Well, I can tell you this…most HSA and Flex spending accounts will cover massage chair purchases. After all, these are considered medical devices and they are primarily used for pain relief. So, the bottom line is if you have money in that account use it for your new massage chair purchase before year’s end.

You are in the 4th quarter of the year, so “Use it or lose it!” as the saying goes. You well know that if you don’t use these funds, that your employer has been setting aside for you, by year’s end you forfeit them…in other words, you lose the money!

Most of these accounts use a credit card system, so you can just order online on this website. If you want to order over the phone, that is just fine too. If you do not have a credit card system, then a check will be fine, too. We can make it work for you. But, act fast because the year’s end fast approaches.

Remember that we also have our Visa Gift Card offer going on this month PLUS you will always get free shipping and bonus gifts with your massage chair purchase.  You’ve already set the money aside…you just may not have known that it was going to be for a massage chair!

October Massage Chair Relief Special of the Month

Friday, October 3rd, 2008

Well, our 2-for-1 massage chair offer in September was quite successful, but many folks didn’t want to fork out the top dollar for the expensive chairs just for a second massage chair. So, this month we are going to do something that can appeal to most massage chair buyers.

This month, we are offering a Visa Gift Card from giftcards.com for any of you who purchase a massage chair on our site. Not bad, eh? So, here is all you have to do…when you add the chair of your dreams into the shopping cart, you will be directed to the check out page. On that page, there is a section called “Coupon” and a field with these words written over the top of the field “Enter your Coupon Code here”. In that field just type in the word “Visa” and we will know exactly what you mean and we will order your Visa Gift Card right away.

Here is the breakdown of how the Visa Gift Cards will be distributed:

1. Massage Chairs under $2000 - $100 Visa Gift Card

2. Massage Chairs $2000 - $4000 - $200 Visa Gift Card

3. Massage Chairs over $4000 - $300 Visa Gift Card

How does that sound? Pretty easy, eh? It is getting closer and closer to Christmas and since you are getting a massage chair anyways, why not get some extra bucks to spend on another Christmas gift? By the way, you still get the free bonus gifts and free shipping with every purchase.

Have a great month…and Happy Halloween!

Panasonic 30007 Massage Chair Brochure

Thursday, October 2nd, 2008

We have had quite a bit of interest expressed in the new Panasonic 30007 massage chair. Although we carry the chair now that it is available, we still do not have it up on our website,  because of the lack of images and information about the massage chair. Well, my Panasonic rep sent me the only brochure they have of the chair…in a .pdf file. So, I have attached the file to this blog entry so you can read up about it. As a matter of fact, if you type in “Panasonic 30007″ into Google, our site is #1 and the only site that has any information about the 30007! That is how rare information is about it.

Here is a link to the brochure for your perusal:

Panasonic 30007 Massage Chair brochure

Some of the highlights of the 30007 include:
1. total air massage square inches: 460

2. 200 sq. inches of air massage on back area

3. 5 preset programs

4. 8 manual programs

5. 1117 massage combinations

6. 30″ massage stroke

7. leg and arm stretch

8. wood design plate on the arm rests

9. manufactured in Japan (as opposed to China)

Read the Panasonic 30007 massage chair brochure to learn more. Although the images are dark, the chair looks good…much like the other 3000 series chairs.
